| A New View on Science and Spirituality |
What do the ideas of a brilliant inventor of the Bell Helicopter have to do with the memoirs of a blind leader from the French Resistance in World War II? How do the mystery cults of Ancient Greece connect with the founders of western philosophy? And what do all of the above have to do with the nature of light?
In a talk illustrated with cartoons and compelling graphics, Geoff Olson speculates on what the human connection to light, in all its guises, might mean for our future evolution.
Geoff Olson's work has appeared in The Globe and Mail, The Vancouver Sun, The National Post, Adbusters, and This magazine. He has appeared on CBC Radio and GBC NewsWorld, and is a regular contributor to Common Ground Magazine and The Vancouver Courier.
