TECHNOLOGY PETTING ZOO: TRY A TABLET!

Ever wanted to test out an app before you buy it? Looking to try a new piece of technology with your child? Check out the Youth Department App Petting Zoo!

Our petting zoo devices offer approximately 100 apps on the following devices:

  • iPads (2)
  • iPod Touch
  • Kobo Arc
  • Nexus 7
  • Nabi Tab

Just like a real petting zoo, you can have fun with the devices in the library, but they cannot be taken home.

RECOMMENDED APPS

Librarians have carefully selected the apps in our Technology Petting Zoo: all apps have been well-reviewed by credible, respected sources, won awards, been recommended by the West Vancouver School District or are just plain great! See the full list of librarian-recommended apps on our WVML Youth App Tumblr.
